Database issue

When ever i try to install something into my db with the right information i get this error "We were unable to connect to your MySQL server with the username and password that you provided. Please go back and try again!" Any help here? and yes its the right login information.

This worked for a user earlier; try erasing the database USER (not the database itself!) and recreating it with the same username/pass as before, and reassigning permissions to that database.

It's happened a few times in the past too; there's some glitch where it's losing the permissions or something.

I've read through many posts on the forums, and finally decided to post in this thread.

I'm using "localhost" and the proper username, password, and hostname... but I'm still unable to connect to the database.

When trying to access the database via the phpMyAdmin I get this error: Wrong username/password. Access denied.

This is on the "boru" server.

Any suggestions?

P.S. I should also tell you that when using the onsite phpMyAdmin it doesn't give the chance to even log in.
