Database problem on Chopin

Seams that MySql is not working. My site skepo.info was working for weeks and now suddenly shows: Error establishing database connection. I didn't touch wp-config of my Wordpress where the informations about database are stored.

I have the same issue, again no changes to my site.

It's possible that this is caused by the Christmas season, I'm noticing some crazy errors popping up else where on the web and with my Internet connection.

Here is the error message (if it is any help)

SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (13) [2002]

An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

same problem here.
had installed a SMF site and now i'm getting database errors telling me: "Connection Problems

Sorry, SMF was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later."

Same here for my Wordpress installation. In addition, my cPanel says 0 SQL databases are being used, though it lists my WP Database. However, next to the database it says 0 MB.
