database wont delete

on my mysql i have one database vinnie_smf but i deleted my forum and i cant delete it even though it says database deleted and on the cpanel homepage it says im using the database
how do i fix it????????????

I have the same problem.

I've updated the remote host - I put in stoli.x10hosting.com so it ain't that.

I desperately need to set up a database to install my new CMS (sNews), but I'm at my limit. I no longer use Drupal, so I went to delete the database I created for Drupal... but nope, it just stays there.

Any help would be appreciated, cheers.

I still cannot delete any of my databases!

I've followed the tutorial (I haven't updated my scripts tho because I'm not using them and will soon be deleting them).

I wanna delete my 3 current databases, and create a new one, but I cannot do this because MySQL will not delete them for some reason.

Could somebody please tell me how to delete my databases?

You can't delete them in phpMyAdmin which is inside of the cPanel for your site?

That's correct.

I can't alter anything in my cPanel that is related to MySQL. The Remote MySQL won't add hosts, the MySQL Database won't delete existing database. It can create new users but we cannot attach them to the database.

Creating new databases doesn't show up in the database overview, but it does show up in the pull down list.

I can't delete anything... I have a database I want to delete but it wont delete. I have a subdomain I want to delete but that wont delete either.
