Hello

I am a Belgian user. My domain ducksite.x10host.com got shot down because it was in Dutch and not English.
Okay i understand the reason. I didn't read the Terms that deep i guess.

But i have a problem: i set my nameservers to x10host because i wanted this site to be my host and i parked my domain on x10host.
Now that my account on x10host got cancelled (but it seems not deleted entirely) i can't unpark my domain so it isn't working anymore.
I tried it with another domain on other sites: when you got parked on one site and set the nameservers to another site and even if you park it also on the other site, you need to unpark it first on the previous site.

So i ask x10host to delete my account entirely or let me unpark my domain.

I tried to register again so i could park it in another account and then unpark it afterwards but x10host doesn't allow Belgian users anymore.

Can you guys help me? Please respond. Thanks!

It doesn't work that way.
1. What is the domain in question?
2. Who is your domain registrar?

When you change the name servers to be something other then ours you effectively disable ours from being in use. There may however be a delay before this information is spread world wide, usually no more then a day, but various cache options can cause it to seem longer (you isp might have a longer dns cache setting, or your local dns cache could still point to the wrong IP).
All suspended accounts would be terminated after 21 days, no sooner but possibly a bit longer at times, we do not speed this up in any way.
At this time there is no hosting account shown under the forum account you show, which leads me to think the hosting account has actually been deleted and with that all settings, such as parked domains, that you made on it.

1. Your nameservers are set to another host's
2. Those nameservers point to an account on their servers
3. When I enter your site's URL, the browser takes me to your site on the other host's server
What is the problem?

Hi

Thank you for the answers.

When i surf to ducksite.be my domain, i still get:

Account unavailable
Maybe account have been moved, deleted, suspended or not activated yet.

The requested resource could not be found but may be available again in the future.

So descalzo i don't know on which site you are landing. The nameservers are changed to 000webhost untill i decide where to put my new site. But i am not landing on the 000webhost-site although that one is working properly and i also parked my domain over there.
But maybe there is a problem with my domain registar i am not aware of, so i sent them an email too.

Anna, my account on x10host still does exist!
I earlier this evening tried to log in, forgot the password, got a new emailed to me and then i logged in and saw the info about cancellation but i may registrer a new but when i tried i got the message about Belgian are not longer welcome.

But i trust you supporters, more experienced than i am, if you think my domain is parked on serveral sites, only the nameservers are important to get to the website-host. Then the problem should be on dns-belgium and they should solve it.

Regards

And sometimes the Web can be a bit uneven in updating itself, so perhaps your part of the system is seeing old information.
Try clearing your browser cache and history, and perhaps flushing your DNS cache.

You are right, your client and forum account (they are linked) still exists, the actual hosting account which provides the web space and domain options does NOT.
