The new range of mobile tablet devices such as Ipads, plus an increasing number of cellphones are spatially aware and have the ability to display regular HTML web browser information in either potrait or landscape formats, switching between these modes of operation dynamically as a result of user interaction eg: turning it sideways.
As it is fairly simple for a web page to constantly check 'which way is up' using javascript it seems logical to change the page CSS accordingly in response. Of course whilst everthing else can be changed or streched the Adsense units cannot, so in order to maintain a consistant design the web page adsense units would need to be subsituted for different formats as well.
However, would such an automatic refresh be permitted under the Google Adsense TOS when this type of user interaction occurs ?
