Hello,

I'm trying since few days to set my free hosting website, but I get difficulties...

When I send my pages with filezilla I only see root of x10hosting, no page like public_html, am I supose to creat one by myself?

For now in don't do, maybe it's why I cannot see my website page...

I'd try to use index manager to fix it, but without succes for now...

For see some of my page I have to write:http://bouquiniste.x10hosting.com/regis/index.php but I get return to my maintenance page...
but I'll like find my index.php with write only:http://bouquiniste.x10hosting.com

With file manager I get: public_html/regis(where my files are)
I'd try to put my index.php directly under public_html (I'd delete index from x10) but it change nothing...

It's why today I ask for your HELP.
Thanks.

It must be public_html/index.php

there is a index.php there, but it is not working correctly.

All of the pages you want seen (essentially the website itself), must be in the public_html folder. (you may need to create)

your public_html folder has a file in it named index.php

this file is not doing anything, ie, it has no output. it is a blank page.

Just use your file manager to move the files you have in the regis folder to the public_html folder.

? X10 does PhpV5; you might be confusing Intermediate php with php version 2 - it's just a restriction system x10 uses to stop spammers from crippling the server 24/7.

Hello Livewire,

I say this because I have index.php going to index_page.html
and if I go directly to index.php it doesn't work , bring me to maintenance page
but if I go to index_page.html it's work

So it's why I started think maybe it's in connection with my PHP version
and when I try to upgrade my php version like it explain in knowledge, I get:
This feature is not currently activated on your account. All accounts are set to x10Hosting's PHP v2. If you are not sure what that means, don't worry about it.
So I wanted look for upgrade my account
and I get
This feature is not currently activated on your account.

It's why I thinked have some trap with free hosting...
Good to know you can use php5, I'll try to find other ideas why my index.php doesn't work.
Thanks.
