Disallowed Key Characters

Hi. So I have a basic account here on x10hosting and when I try accessing my email accounts ( ‘email accounts’ page -> ‘access webmail’ link/button ) I get this error:

“Disallowed Key Characters.Child failed to make LIVEAPI connection to cPanel.”

Now, this happens after I am prompted to enter the password so when I should be redirected to the mail server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I too am getting this error message when trying to use the webmail via the cPanel. I also get "Server xo6.x10hosting.com has disconnected. The server may have gone down or there may be a network problem." when I try to access it using the Thunderbird email client.

EDIT: I was just able to get into the webmail client by changing the cPanel theme to Paper Lantern. A few test emails shows everything seems to be working again.

Thanks for the reply. I've heard changing the theme may help but unfortunately for me, it doesn't. I'll try some things over the weekend and I'll post on this thread what I'll find.
