Disk Space Inquiry

About the amount of disk space; I currently have 300 MB. This is for the entire time the website is active, correct? I run a podcasting and audiofiction site so we use a lot of disk space. Probably around 50 MB a month so if this is the case I will probably run out of space fairly quickly. I have two questions:

-Will there be more disk space if I create a sub domain specifically for the podcast section of the site?
-Does advanced PHP increase the amount of disk space on the account?

Sorry if these questions are extremely stupid, I'm new at this and acknowledge that. Thank you.

Yes your quota covers databases and all files.
Changing your php version does not change the amount of space you have. Only changing the free hosting type does that and you would have to go with ads if you wanted more space (unless you didnt need databases)
