My disk space usage in the CPanel overview is shown to be more than twice the actual disk space usage, as shown by the detailed view or the file manager.
Is it possible that because www is symlinked to public_html, those files are counted twice? That could explain the overhead. The remaining difference could come from the fact that directories require disk space, too, but even then, the total figure seems to be inaccurate.
The problem is not so urgent as I managed to clean out some data before hitting the quota, but sooner or later, this situation will reoccur.
