however, when I attempt to bring up the website using Internet Explorer 8, I get an error message that internet explorer can not display the page. I'm thinking the problem is with apache?

Edit:
I tested this with Mozilla and the website does come up after several reloads, but images appear to be missing. Its probably a time-out issue. I don't know how to resolve that. :-(
