DNS Errors -

Hi! I've registered my domain at marcaria.com, and while trying to add x10hosting's DNS address I'm getting the following message:

After reviewing entered DNS information, we found some problems with your servers, please contact your host provider: Primary Server - ns1.x10hosting.com is not found in SOA records for domain Server Error: Secondary Server - ns2.x10hosting.com is not found in SOA records for domain

These are the DNS names and IP addresses I'm trying to add:
DNS1: ns1.x10hosting.com
IP address: 67.228.168.190

DNS2: ns2.x10hosting.com
IP address: 74.86.117.241

Thanks for the reply. Despite updating with the nameserver ips you mentioned(for ns2 I pinged), I get the same error:

What say?

Do I need to change the A records or something? If so what do I add there?

They want you to add the domain to your account before changing the name servers.

Um, I'm not sure I got what I'm supposed to do. I have registered my domain(and have an account with that domain over there). Any guidance would be highly apprreciated.

They want you to add your domain to your hosting account first.
You can either change your main domain (sathyabh.x10hosting.com) for your own domain, or add your domain as parked/addon domain.

Thanks for the links. I went through them, followed them step by step.

Had problems initially, but now it's worked. have pointed the DNS to x10's DNS>
