hi, when i created my site i used an .x10hosting.com subdomain, but then decided to go for a .co.cc subdomain, so i signed up for affiliate-marketing-school.Co.CC and changed the ns to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com . I then went into my hosting account and changed my primary domain to affiliate-marketing-school.co.cc however my account is saying that affiliate-marketing-school.x10.mxis my primary domain and wont let me change it?
any suggestions?

DNS propagation can take up to 72 hours depending on a number of factors including what part of the planet you live on, however, it usually takes less time. I have had prorogation complete in about 12 hours on some occasions and much longer on other occasions. You can double check and make sure your nameservers are set correctly, but I am sure you have already done that.

thats been 5 days, i think it's something to do with my account, cos my account is saying that http://affiliate-marketing-school.x10.mx is my domain, thats not even the domain i chose to start with, that domain just appeared when i tried to choose my .co.cc domain

I think you threw them off when you said it was a DNS issue.

You have to change your main domain name.

Go to Account Panel https://x10hosting.com/control/login.php and sign in with your Forum username/password.

Menu at the top: Hosting, choice Modify Domain

On that page, Modify Main Domain

Uncheck the box that says "Use an x10Hosting subdomain as my account's main domain"

Fill in your desired domain name.

Click "Update Main Domain"

It might take a short while for the system to process your request.

If you get an error, post back here with the entire content of the error message.

Currently your main domain is affiliate-marketing-school.x10.mx Go to Account Panel and change it to .co.cc one. If you got any error please post that error.

ok so i managed to change my primary domin to affiliate-marketing-school.co.cc
but when i click the link i get http://affiliate-marketing-school.co.cc/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi
so then i installed wordpress, and when i try any other links i get x10's 404 page

You and 5000+ other accounts are on Cossacks. The hard drive is dying and they are moving the accounts to a new server.
Be patient for another day or so. It should be faster than deleting your account and starting over.

If this problem is unresolved after these maintenance is over, then post back.
