Hello,

I think a saw a similar post for an update to an 'A' record; in my case, I've updated a CNAME record in my domain zone editor, but the change is not propagated.

Using http://mxtoolbox.com/DNSLookup.aspx I can confirm that in fact, ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com still advertise the old value for this CNAME entry. I made the change some time last week, so I know it's not just that I haven't given it time to propagate.

Hopefully it's something 'simple' that will make the DNS records to start not just updating, but broadcasting the changes.

Thank you guys, you are awesome!

domain is volium.com

Specifically, I was trying to update this entry:

remote.volium.com to point to volium.mooo.com, but it still points to volium.dyndns.org, I tried changing the TTL
to 60, but it still doesn't propagate.

From the mx toolbox:

CNAMEremote.volium.comvolium.dyndns.org24 hrs
Reported by ns1.x10hosting.com on 4/30/2014 at 8:48:57 AM (UTC -5)

Thanks for looking into it!

It is not a propagation problem. Your changes are not reflected on the nameservers at all. (I used http://www.kloth.net/services/nslookup.php to query the nameserver directly).

An Admin will have to check into this.

You could try using the Advanced Zone Editor to first "reset" the Zone File and then make your changes/additions. Not sure it will work, but might be worth a try.
