I have a registered domain at:
twistdesignmedia.ca
I have added the DNS change on their end.

I have added a parked domain under CPANEL here on x10 it shows as follows:
Code:
DOMAIN DOMAIN ROOT REDIRECTS TO
twistdesignmedia.ca /public_html [url]http://tdm.x10.bz/[/url]
If I type in twistdesignmedia.ca it takes me to my index.php file okay, but the URL changes to
tdm.x10.bz

What do I need to change or add so that my customers will only see
twistdesignmedia.ca

I realize if I add a folder, say, homepage and type in twistdesignmedia.ca/homepage

that it will go to that directory and stay the same (twistdesignmedia.ca/homepage).

But if someone was to cut the /homepage off the URL then they end up seeing the tdm.x10.bz URL instead. How do I prevent that?

I've looked through the forums, I've seen similar and either I'm not understanding the solutions or am implementing them incorrectly.

Thanks,
D

Remove the redirect. You do not need it.

Since the .ca domain is parked, it will show the same exact material as your x10.bz domain.

So I can remove the redirect from my host, build the site on x10 and folks typing in the twist URL would see everything on this x10 site?

Sorry first time I've done this and want to be clear. Know the DNS will take 24+ hours to propagate.
--------------------
Also I have the same URL ending in a .com (i'm not doing anything with that site, as i want to use the Canada .ca branding).
Would I do the DNS redirect for it to the x10 servers? I can only have 1 parked domain on x10 since I'm using free service at the moment. Do I add that as a sub domain?

Wish the help docs were more clear on the site, they don't offer enough information to make this clear and it isn't something people that are new to the process are likely to understand right off the get go.
--------------------
While I'm at it, how come I can post a thread here in the forums but can't reply to other threads?

there are a few things I wanted to answer.
