Do ads need to go on every page?

Do they have to go on EVERY single page I have on my site, or is just the homepage good enough? I've looked through a bunch of posts and the place where you get the ad codes, but it just says how to place them, and not if they belong on every page or not.

I'm using the text links, by the way.

If you have an Ad-Enhanced Plan, then the Ad has to be placed on all publicly viewable web pages.

Ah, I see. Lets say I'm going to have forums on my site that you can only see if you register. Do I need ads on those forum pages, even though not everyone can see them?

Once again, If you have registered users they will see them. So again, the ad has to be placed on all pages.
