Do you get rewards for referring?

Do we get points or any rewards for referring someone to x10? What kind?
When I registered it asked me if anyone had referred this site to me, so im curious why that matters.

Um Yes you do. I forgot how many. Also Replys to a topic give you 1 point and new topics give you 2.

I also have a referrer who put my subdomain ll in, instead of limelight.. Who I have gotten the points. I don't care if I did, just wondering.

Well, how do you prove that you were the person who referred someone? Do they have to PM someone specifically?

no, when ur register on the forums, and apply for hosting there are refferrer boxes, you can fill in that person's username and i think it is done automatic.

Yeah, I think the points are instantly given when you put in the persons name in the referer box.
