I have a question for you all,

do you read the TOS for whatever your using, ie webhosting, games, ets, and when do you read it? before you even use it? after you like it?

or do you never even look at the tos?

do you know what a TOS is?

For hosting purpose i used to read the TOS because they tell what you are supposed to do and what not. While for others I dont.......

I am such a bad example xDD

I learned the rules through trial and error at first, then by what people said/complained about. I don't think I ever actually started reading the actual text until I was already a staff member (and now I know it like my own name).

Alright, I am going to be honest, I don't read the terms of service, I never have. They are just too long, it'd take hours to read one. Whenever I write terms of service, I usually make them short, instead of writing 200 things in their. I see no point in writing all that crap either.

Yup. Not always, though.

I don't read them too carefully. Just read to get the main ideas :)

I take it then, that you haven't read ours. It is no where near the "hours" length. You could read our TOS and forum rules and regulations, and still have time to watch a 30 minute cartoon.

What are TOS?? Nah, only kidding.
I will read them if it's something like web hosting, bank account setup etc., if it's like a game or a program then no I really can't be bothered. I have to say though, I used to go and read the TOS of things about a year after using them.....

For services, all the time before signing up for them. When it comes down to software, I hardly read TOS at all because it's pretty much just the same thing all the time.

I usually will skim through the TOS of a online service.
I like x10's TOS because it's so short and easy. Not like the other places with 5 page terms of service agreements where you have to get a lawyer to understand it.

I will only read the ToS if the service it is for looks good itself. I'd rather not waste 10 minutes of my time reading the ToS before getting a service, then not liking the service at all.

I read the x10 ToS at least twice now. I could say x10's is nice, straight up and short. That's how many people like i

I typically don't read TOS's unless it's something "serious", involving either money or personal information.
