PayBox.me is a service that allows users to get "money" for completing tasks and referring people in a pyramid scheme. Unfortunately, this Monopoly money is not backed by any tangible good and therefore is apparently entirely worthless, unlike other forms of (real) currency. What do you think about PayBox.me? Is it a scam? Does the operation have some merit? Is it a way for everybody to get rich quick? I wrote an entire article about it, and I think it is a scam.

I believe it's not a scam. Also, one should realize this is still a beta mode, Maybe, you (zbloomq) should do reading about it then to draw a quick conclusion.

I did do some reading on it. And yeah, I know it is still in beta. But regardless of whether it is in beta or not, the virtual currency it uses is still worthless.

I may not agree with you.It is a scam. This is what I felt after watching it for a while now.
If not, please disprove with some data.
For me its a scam. The site is interesting but no proofs of people.

Yo!

There is no shortcut to getting rich, that's the bottom line.
Proof: Life!

Anywho,It now redirects to http://www virtapay com/ (or was already VirtaPay)

and I can't trust sites that keep changing there domain name.

I won't label it as a scam but won't clear it as "not-a-scam" either.

Ta Ta!

Yeah, I know. I wonder why they changed their name. To be honest, I kinda liked the old one.

It's not a scam. The offers that they have you complete are entirely related to improving their site. They have no ads and don't take your money. I don't see how it could be a scam.

It takes your time, and in return, you get nothing except for fake money.
