I believe (from memory) that this site used to support https connections, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. Either support for secure connections has been pulled or the site's certificate is too old. (That is a guess - I don't know much about this.)

I am trying to use jsfiddle.net to test a webpage I have created here. If supporting files are hosted online, you can create links to the necessary files in a list of "external resources," but fiddle requires the links to be https (not http). When trying to run the code on fiddle, I find it doesn't work, though it did work for me last time I used it - about 2 years ago.

I suspect it's because it can't access the external resource files over an https connection. When I try to do so manually in a web-browser (I have tried in several), I find that files that I can get via http I can't get using https. When I try I get an error message like the one below from Firefox:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to moongazer.x10.mx. SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Any advice on this would be appreciated.

it doesn't seem to work anymore

The current setup of x10hosting's free-hosting servers will NOT work with SSL or TSL or SNI (regardless of IP shared or dedicated or what cPanel shows)

For what it's worth, it never has done. You can, however, use Cloudflare and take advantage of their Universal SSL feature to access your account.
