Hello,

I have registered a free account here: http://tibiaworlds.x10hosting.com
I also registered a domain name on www.mijndomein.nl: http://www.tibiaworlds.com
I want if people type the domain name in their browser it shows my free website here, if I am correctly that is a parked domain.

This is what I tried:

-add tibiaworlds.com as a parked domain on Cpanel
-try to point my domain name to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com, I ended up filling the IP from ns2 in the form you can see on the image, I'm not sure if that is ok.
domeinnaamsdns..png

Well, that didn't work. Then I removed tibiaworlds.com from my parked domain entries on cPanel and changed my "main domain" to tibiawords.com and set tibiaworlds.x10hosting.com as a parked domain. That didn't work either --> when thyping tibiaworlds.com it points to: http://www.tibiaworlds.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi

What is the solution?

It can take up to 48 hours for DNS to propagate fully.

That form adjusts the A records on the DNS servers of your registrar.
When a computer looks for your webpage, it goes to those nameservers. They tell the computer your webpage is located on ns2.x10hosting, which it is not.

Either:

1. Adjust the address to 69.175.120.122 , the addres of starka in Chicago, where your domain tibiaworlds.x10hosting.com resides.

OR

2. Use your domain registrar's tools to adjust the address of the nameservers. Currently they are set to
ns1.metaregistrar.nl
ns2.metaregistrar.nl
You should change them to
ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

How do I do that second option? Do I need to change type to AAAA or MX or TXT or CNAME or SRV ?
Do I really need to have an entry for ns1.x10hosting.com AND ns2.x10hosting.com or will one of those two also work?

You go to your domain registrar. Sign in. They should have a "manage your domain" facility. It should include the option to set the nameservers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns.x10hosting.com

The entries in the x10 nameservers are done by cPanel when you park the domain.

the url www.tibiaworlds.com now works on my cellphone browser, not on my computer browser yet, but I have confidence it is only a matter of time now, until the DNS thingy works correct.
Thanks for the help, in case anyone has the same problem: this is how I ultimately configured the DNS stuff at my domain registrar: Domeinnaams DNS2..png
