Domain name issue

I changed name servers with my DNS provider and put my domain on x10hosting.com, and it... works... but not quite.

The original domain of my server is alextest.x10hosting.com
My real domain I bought separately is alexatwater.com
What's happening is alexatwater.com is going to the right page, but as soon as I switch pages, the url changes to alextest.x10hosting.com

How can I keep alexatwater.com consistent throughout the site?

Make sure any script you have installed is set to have the .com domain configured, many scripts create their internal links based on the configured domain.
