its not redirecting to cgi-bin but its redirecting to public_html
Why don't you just upload e107 to public html or
Just create an redirect rule.

i wasnt aware that i can uploaded to the public_html. my previous host would have tried to suspend my acct for not creating a directory within the directory i was given. (good thing they closed down) also i've been messing around with it and thats why its no longer going to cgi-bin. the reason i stayed away from the redirect is because when i did it it did redirect how ever in the adress bar it showed my subdomain instead of my domain name. i may just redirect for now and fix the domain once the site has actual content and visitors
