Domain Name

I am a novice at hosting and is the first time that I am doing this, so please bear with me...
I am trying to host our website onto your server but I need to use our own domain name. I can point the domain name to you via the domain name company - but I am unable to find out how to make the domain name appear in the address bar and not x10hosting etc etc.

I have followed the instructions/tutorials on the forums (http://x10hosting.com/forums/tutorials/88865-easy-domain-setup-dns.html) but I am unable to find my account details where I need to check and put in my own domain name. Please could you provide me with some help as I am completely lost and I don't know what I am doing really!

First of all set the nameservers of your domain to

ns1.x10hosting.com
ns2.x10hosting.com

the propagation may take upto 48 hours.

Once set then you can

Make your domain as primary domain.
Goto account managemant panel --> http://x10hosting.com/control
on top menu click on modify service. Then you are able to set your domain.

OR
goto cpanel and park the domain

OR

goto cpanel and add as addon domain.
