Can your own domain name be used on a X10hosting free hosting?

Yes it can. You just need to point the name servers to ns1.x10hosting.com and ns2.x10hosting.com and then add it in either the add-on domains or the parked domains. You can make it your primary domain at http://x10hosting.com/account
