Domain not transferred?

I just bought a domain and changed it to my site. I updated the name servers and yet I get a time out page, it has been 48 hours, when will it finally pick up?

If you are not able to see that then Flush your DNS http://kb.x10hosting.com/questions.php?questionid=16 and clear your browser cache

Edit: Boss beat me, assuming nothing of this works though link us (if it's not forumadvertising.org having the problem) and we can dig up more on it.

Is it http://forumadvertising.org ?

If so that's already working here - depending on DNS provider (usually your ISP or an external provider such as OpenDNS), it could take up to 72 hours for the change to show up for you.

If it's not forumadvertising.org though link us and we can see if it's actually a DNS issue or something else.

Hmm weird, I did both and it didn't work. Only works on a proxy.

My internet really does weird stuff too, so it might be that.

It working on a proxy makes it sound like it's a DNS issue where it hasn't updated at your provider yet; if you flushed DNS like from Boss' post then hang tight another 24-36 hours and see if it fixes the rest of the way (it should if it's only been 48hr).

If you want a high speed DNS then USE google public DNS. It will make the changes faster than your DNS.
