I've set up the parked domain deadimp.org to point to deadimp.x10hosting.com. Previously, deadimp.org would display a search page, with God knows what. After I parked it, I could view the files on my host, but the index of the domain (deadimp.org/) would still show the search page, despite my having an index file.
Links:

http://deadimp.org/index.php

The domain is hosted with iPowerWeb.

Should I instead have it act as an addon domain?

I see this on the page "This is teh test."

Your DNS might of not updated since it was originally linked to another site.

Always wait 10 min - 1 H for domain settings to be updated on x10 DNS server, this is a fat rule.

Then wait an additional 24-36 hours for your isp to update THEIR dns records, since it seems that the ISP's are the ones who drag their feet :)

In any case they're all working here, so once your ISP gets their foot outta their backsides and updates you should be fine :)
