Domain question

Hi there.

Today, I got hosting here after being strongly recommended by a friend.

So before I start anything with it, i want to know how can i use my own domain, say abc.com as my default domain/main domain instead of xyz.x10hosting.com

I know the name server part, but i dont want it as an addon domain.

Is to be done from the x10hostings main page?

If yes, please ignore the post.

My recommendation is sign up for an x10 subdomain, and then park your domain on it, as "park" = alias

that way should something happen to your domain name, for any reason you can still access it via the other name, you just dont tell anyone it

I tried changing the domain from the account panel. It is working like URL forwarding. Instead of abc.com, its comes xyz.x10hosting.com even though I type abc.com

For sometime, it worked. Later on, when I type my domain, ndezines.co.cc , im redirected to opendns.com stating that ndezines.co.cc is not loading. What is the problem?

Try removing it and adding it again.
It appears the DNS record is messed up.
