I have registered a domain with 123-reg and set all mail @mydomain to forward to a gmail address I have.

I followed instructions on here to change my name servers from 123reg ones to x10 ones so that I could point the domain to my website on here.

Since I've done this, my email has stopped forwarding. I'm thinking it is better for me to change the MX record for my domain so it also points X10 servers and allow x10 to handle my emails.

Is this the right thing to do, and if so, what do I need to change the MX records to. I've tried asking 123-reg as well but there support site seems to be down.

Ive been playing around with this and now think that because the nameservers and pointing to x10 servers, it doesn't matter what the 123reg mx setting is.

With this in mind ive checked the mx setting in my cpanel and there is a 0 lostadio.co.uk entry.

I've set a user account up for a user called neil. I've sent neil@lostadio.co.uk mails from various accounts but the inbox is empty. I've checked via webmail and imap. I've also tried to send via the webmail but got an smtp error.

What am I missing?
