Hello,

I bought a domain name but when I type my domain in "www.doonsroom.com" rather than going to "www.doonsroom.com/forums" it goes to "www.doonsroom.x10hosting.com/forums" so it goes to your subdomain?

How can I change this please?

Kind regards

It works correctly for me. Try clearing your cache, then DNS cache if that fails.

I would go to your panel here: http://x10hosting.com/panel.php?modifyaccount

And change your main domain to your .com instead of .x10hosting.com

Also, it looks as if you don't have your IPB set up correctly. It thinks it is located at doonsroom.x10hosting.com

Are you saying that it goes do "www.doonsroom.com/forums" and not "www.doonsroom.x10hosting.com/forums" ?

I edited my last post, your board is set up incorrectly.

Are you using the trial version of IPB or did you buy the full version?

It's set up wrong? It's staying at doonsroom.com/forums for me, so now I'm confused if my system is wrong XD

Edit for reply: Shure enough, now I see it. Yup, somethings busted; no idea how to fix cause I use PHPBB, so I'm editing instead of replying so it's not a useless reply :)

Look at the page source. All links are relative to the .x10hosting url

You'd have to dig for it. I don't have the $300 to use IPB myself

The forum appears fine, but there is one link: Vive La Resistance that still redirects to the x10hosting.com subdomain.

Thanks for all your help guys. I still cant get on it, I have done the flushdns command and still get a namesco website. Funny, and xav I will sort that out when I can get on the forum :)

Is it just me then? If everyone else can get on it, than theres no problem. If so, thanks very much guys. I will be investing in a premium hosting account as well soon.

Cheers

did you logged into namesco to change the settings previously. And did you logged out once the work is complete. Generally so many people just close the tab without logging out.

Just asking. try opera.

One more thing why the chrome is looking for http://www.cheapdomainnames.co.uk/obp.html?PR=F00

this address is in the bottom of your screenshot
