I was wondering if there is anyway to downgrade my PHP version from 5.3.6 to 5.2.X?

The plugin for my site wont work unless that version of PHP is installed. 5.2.17 is the best one but any 5.2.X will work.

Thanks

PHP is the same for the everyone on your server. That cannot be changed.

What exactly is the problem with the plugin? Error messages?

Can you get a more up to date version of the plugin?

Its Inferno Shoutbox for VBulletin, I have done research and The PHP version is the problem from what others say. The latest version of the Shoutbox is configured to work with that version of PHP only. The error message is the same as everyone elses whos PHP version was to high.

ok this problem is surely the most issued , issue in the vBulletin area. I was there myself as well but the issue its due to the php version running. if your running 5.3.x + , it causes what your seeing following the loading..., don't get me wrong it'll run fine on 5.3.x but using it will come to other issues like the well know error "Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in...." + the loading etc, i recommend for you to downgrade your php version to 5.2.x (5.2.17 works best), may i ask what vBulletin forum version your on? but i'm sure if you downgrade your php version it'll work , as for many cases for me and help from me on other sites, it worked

. If you still get the problem, i'd be more than glad to take a look

Unfortunately we can not change the PHP version for just one user. Not to mention, past PHP versions have security issues.
