Download Plugin/ software

Hello,


I am using WordPress to develop a static pages(traditional website look) for a client who would like to make daily reports files available for download for site users. The files download section on the home page should display all days in the current month (each day should be displayed as buttons, for eg |Oct 1| |Oct 2| etc ). When a user click on the day button then he should get a list of files uploaded by client/admin for that day, which he can download.


Is there a WP Plugin by which I can incorporate this sort of functionality in the site and the client could easily use it to update daily files. If there is no such plugin in then in which other ways can this sort of function be achieved (for eg by coding in php, html/css or other free software) by which this can be achieved.


Sorry I am new to coding and have run out of ideas as to how this task can be accomplished.

This is the closest i have found so far to what you want its a script that organises your uploads into directories for example wp/uploads/2010/11/1/file.html
That can be found here

This might make it a little easier to develop a PHP script to do what you want it to.
