Hell yeahz! I just got my license on Wednesday haha. But i've already driven to and from work two times and had to make a special trip to go get some napkins from another store and I just love driving! haha. I started driving around in empty parking lots and developing subdivisions with my dad when I was about 14, so I've already got quite a bit of experience.

I'm always fearful of driving. Since you're holding the lives of your passengers, and the lives of anyone else on the road, it's very important to exercise a great deal of caution while driving. I'd also like to ask everyone here who drives to do the same for everybody's sake.

Thanks guys,
- Shenlone.

I've been driving for about 10 months now. I kinda need to since I do swimming, and my parents don't exactly enjoy hauling my sorry self 'round town in the morning to get me there, even though they usually get up around the same time I do.

Yes I drive. In fact driving is necessity in this country (small island country in middle east called Kingdom of Bahrain). Necessity because public transportation is not well established - some buses but they do not cover full area, taxis - very costly, no one have office buses etc.

Above all petrol is cheap 27 cents per litre so maintaining the car is cheap.

I am having Nissan Altima and it is a good car. When I was their in my native country, owning car is costly affair with petrol touching $ 1 per liter. There I had Maruti Suzuki's Wagon - R.

I don't drive yet, I'm terrified of learning actually - I have no attention span and I could see myself wandering off into a daydream and causing a serious accident :/

Is that something you get over, or should I REALLY stay off the roads?

I felt the same way for awhile too. Just practice a bit with someone, maybe take Driver Ed and things should be fine.

I'm in Canada, so I have my G1. To be honest, I'm scared of driving. It is very intimidating! Hahaha. I'll have to conquer this fear if I plan on getting a full license.

*Do not worry Canadian (Toronto) drivers. I won't be on the road anytime soon*

Ouch, $300! That's gotta hurt! My drivers education was provided free through my high school.
