Dear Anyone,

Does anyone know of a way to dual boot Apple Mac OSX Snow Leopard and Microsoft Windows 7 (or Vista), without having to install Apple Mac OSX Leopard in the first place? Is there a simple way of doing this? I'm stuck... I can't burn a ".dmg" image file. This is all new for me; everything is too confusing. I wish I can install Snow Leopard by simply creating a new partition and running an installation file. If only Snow Leopard could be installed from Windows..... =(

Sincerely,
-TJ

+1 for trying to make a Hackintosh :)

There are programs out there that allow you to do this. You can boot it up in a Virtual Machine to make it easier if it really comes down to it, unless you want to use one or the other then you'll need to use an open source boot loader to do this. Now, whether or not you want to get Apple ticked off, that's another thing.

Yeah, I even saw a tutorial on how to build a Snow Leopard Hackintosh for ~$800 on some technology blog. Also, you don't need to install 10.5 before 10.6.
