E-mail on the cellphone

Hi,
I need to receive cell notifications of my e-mail on my Cellphone.

I've been trying to configure Gmail and it asks for

Username: Not sure if it's the e-mail i'm trying to configure, or my login on X10 hosting
Password: ok
Server: My domain name (domainname.com), or the IP on DNS Management screen?
Port: ???? (it comes with 993 as standard)
Security: ????

Is it possible to configure the Gmail? Should i download another app, like Thunderbird?

Finally i've found out what was wrong...

I've clicked on the "Use this server to handle my e-mails. If not, change the MX records and uncheck this option." box on the MX records configuration.

So i wasn't receiving any e-mail.

Anyway, the configuration i've used was:

Username: The e-mail i was trying to configure
Server: My domain name (domainname.com)
Port: 993 (i think it doesn't matter)
