E-mail problem

I've been using my e-mail account successfully for a few weeks now. Since last night, i've not been able to send or receive anything. When i try to send an email, i get the error message:

Message not sent. Server replied:
Connection refused
111 Can't open SMTP stream.

Any ideas?
