e107 help

[pureknight]

hey all, im relatively new to x10.

i got this error at stage 7 with e107 :

MySQL Reported Error:
Access denied for user 'pure_pure'@'localhost' to database 'pure_mainDB'

i've tried searching up a solution, but every thread i check, it always ends up like "nvm, its working now" and they don't bother to give how they fixed it. I also had a look at the e107 tutorial posted here, and it has not helped me.

I uploaded all the e107 files one by one by using the Core FTP client.

please help

Did you create that database and user and give the user full permission on the database?

yerh i did. i have the user "pure_pure" permission to the database.

Hi,

I checked the user pure_pure, it was assigned to the database but no permissions were set. I re-assigned the user, can you try again?

P.S. I thought i had given permission to pure_pure for the database already, strange.

please help.
