Editing 401.shtml

Can anyone help?
I have a protected area and when a client selects cancel, I want the page to remain the same, with the u/name and password box to disappear.
The link is: http://zoejones.x10.mx/client area.htm

if you click on the temporary blue button, then choose cancel. I want just the box to go and to remain on this page.

I don't think you can using htaccess and htpasswd.

Sorted it by putting the following into the edit 401.shtml area on cpanel:

<!--
window.location = "http://zoejones.x10.mx/client area.htm"
//-->
</script>
