ELGG and COORDINO install problem

Hi,
I´m tring to install coordino and elgg.

I´v create a domain perguntas.x10.mx to install coordino, and put the files in /www but i cant intall it!


Then i´v tried to install Elgg and created a subdomain rede.perguntas.x10.mx, and put the files in /www/rede/elgg-1.8.0.1



and i cant install it too!!!
Plese, can anyone help me?

For the coordino you should delete or rename the file named 'index.html'. This is the default welcome page and it is overriding the correct index.php which is causing problems.

For the elgg, could you tell us what error you are getting and be more specific?

I could install COORDINO , but still could'n install the Elgg. I'v created a subdirectory (rede.perguntas.x10.mx) and put all Elgg files in public_html/rede, then tried to access the subdomain page and the message:500 Error

An internal server error has occurred. Please try your request again momentarily.

• File or directory permissions are set too high: Files should be 0644, directories 0755.
• Problem with your .htaccess file.
• A syntax error in a CGI script
