Email Authentication

In cPanel there is a menu item for Email Authentication. When I try and use either of these options this error appears

WARNING: SPF cannot be used because this server is not a DNS server for mohron.net

Now I understand why I get the error since my cPanel is located on cossacks.x10hosting.com and not ns1.x10hosting.com or ns2.x10hosting.com. So my real question is when I enable these options, will the settings be transferred or will they simply do nothing? I would like to know that the email sent from my site by both PHP & SMTP will verify as authentic and other mail will not.

I don't believe it'll work. I am almost sure it won't. We will try to find a solution to this.

Thank you. If no solutions evolve I'm sure x10 could remove it from the control panel to avoid further confusion. I look forward to knowing the results.
