Hi

I request information on behalf a profitless community organisation called LETS gent (www.letsgent.be).

We were looking for a host which allows us to send up to 2000 emails a day to our members.

At the moment we are using a Yahoo mailing group but we like to integrate this functionality into our website to bond our members to our website so they are aware of other information on our website.

Thanks a a lot for your responses.

G,
Edit:
My question is thus as follows: is there a formula offered by X10 which allows such e-mail capacities and to which price?

Thank you

Hello,

This would probably have to be done on a VPS (http://x10hosting.com/vps.php)... it is allowed as long as all the users have subscribed to the list and there is a link to opt out if they choose to do so.

Thank you Corey.

I assume X10 is using Mailman on vps?

We already have a working php system but it got stuck on the (outbound) sender quota limit. Beside the contents of the post members have made in a thread, an email contains also a link which automatically logs in the member into our website. I guess this poses no problem as well?
Just making sure before we dive into something.

Thank you very much.

G,

Hi,

Links are fine... the VPSs come as a 'blank slate' for you to setup as you want. Off the top of my head I'm not sure what they come with relating to mail software. I'm pretty sure sendmail works though ;). You would just have to install the software you want on it.
