Hi guys,

From sunday, I have not been able to recieve any emails to my accounts. I did not make any changes to the email settings at the time.

This error comes up when I send it an email from gmail to one of my accounts:

Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 5.1.1 User unknown: <email address> (state 14).

I submitted a support ticket and I was told

"Recreate the email account and then try again."

So I tried this simple idea and still nothing has happened.

Any ideas community? I am expecting some important emails

many thanks

Thanks for the reply

I dont use Outlook so it has nothing to do with that

I have also tested this by sending emails from multiple different accounts (gmail, hotmail, yahoo) and I cannot recieve mail from all of them

I even know that some business related emails have been bounced! I am very annoyed and need this sorted urgently as this is my work email!

I can send emails fine, I just cant recieve them

Did you create the mail account to which you are sending all of this email?

By default, you have no mail accounts.

Looks like you have to re-open your ticket and have the admins check it out again.

Just out of curiosity, what servers do you all have your sites on?
Edit:
And now it seems someone else has the same problem too...... here - http://forums.x10hosting.com/free-hosting/97866-problems-email-server.html

Maybe they should have used 'search' but I cannot judge lol....... merging the threads may be an option, mods hehehe

Who hates email?......... I hate email......... 2497 spam into one account in 24 hours!!!!! even just deleting them is a chore and a half lmao

You don't need a new host just to change your mail server. You can use google apps instead of x10's mail and keep your hosting.

It's free. There's a commercial trial and a fully free version.

is this for me????

Yeah, sorry I should have said that lol.. The post contains all the info you need to set up gmail as your email handler and gmail gives you 50 email addresses on your domain free to =]

I had to move after my email couldn't receive for over a week and I'm well pleased with it especially since it can be configured for use with thunderbird =]
