Email forwarding is not working?

I set up an email forwarder for rbrew@sybok.x10host.com, to forward to myname@gmail.com.

However, if I send email to rbrew@sybok.x10host.com nothing shows up at myname@gmail.com. No error message at the sending end.

I note that there have been a steady stream of posts here about forwarding not working, since 2013 at least. Does x10hosting not support this feature?

Also, my Cpanel has changed form for some reason. It only displays a couple of options, not the full screen of icons it used to show. As a result I seem to not have access to any error logs or anything like that.

Am I missing some configuration setting, or running into a quota limitation somewhere?

I can't duplicate this. I setup name@user.x10host.com to forward to my @gmail.com account, sent name@user.x10host.com a message from my work email account (not a gmail/google account) and it was forwarded to my @gmail.com account.

NOTE: If you send a message from abc@gmail.com to name@user.x10host.com (that is set to forward to xyz@gmail.com) it may not be delivered to xyz@gmail.com (I remember having this issue at the hosting company I use to work for)
