Email Forwarding Not Working

Hi,

I have set up an email account forwarder to allow messages sent to specific addresses within my website to be sent on to my personal email account.

Despite double checking the addresses to ensure they are correct and setting up forwarding a couple of times to make sure i have done this correctly, i have yet to get this function to work.

I have sent emails from numerous email accounts to my website email in the hope they are forwarded to my personal account but it does not work.

The emails do arrive in the inbox of the website email account but they are just not forwarded.

Can you please help

Can somebody from x10 hosting please offer some advice on the above. I understand that free hosting means limited support but no support is shameful.

I pinged one of the higher ups, can you send email from your x10hosting account to the address you're trying to forward to? Or do they not arrive?

Hi thanks for getting back to me.

I've sent emails from each of the accounts associated with the email forwarders and none of them have been delivered to the destination email address.

To be sure I checked junk mail folders also.

Try adding the forwarding email's to the whitelist at hotmail, it sounds like they might be blacklisting us if we aren't in a users whitelist.

Ok I have added the emails to my hotmail whitelist. I have received 3 of the 3 emails i sent when sending directly from the email accounts associated with those addresses. Although they were delivered hours after i sent them.

But it seems that forwarding however doesnt work still.

Ok this seems to be working, however it is very very slow to work. Its taking a few hours for emails to be delivered.

Yeah, we're not entirely sure -why- that's required to do. Hotmail claims they don't blacklist anyone, but it's pretty obvious they're doing -something- that's stopping our emails from getting through :(

Well im getting the emails through now, although its slow but atleast they are coming in. Maybe over time they will improve in delivery speed.

It seems the pace of delivery is also affecting the autoresponder that i have in place, that too seems slow.
