I'm getting the following error when trying to send an email from webmail:

"There was an error sending your message: authentication failure [SMTP: Invalid response code received from server (code: 535, response: Incorrect authentication data)]"

When I tried saving the message as a draft, I got:

"Saving the draft failed. This is what the server said: [ALERT] You exceeded your mail quota."
"There was an error saving this message as a draft."

Please help.

Are you still having problems with this? It looks like you had this problem when we were dealing with our upgrade issues.

I'm not sure....I haven't tried to send anything since.

I'll try it out and let you know.

Edit: This is what I got while trying to send a test email to my work address:

There was an error sending your message: authentication failure [SMTP: Invalid response code received from server (code: 535, response: Incorrect authentication data)]

Are you trying to use a PHP script or a mail client or a web-based e-mail client (i forget which one we get with cPanel)

Check your mailbox quota, is that over (at least for the drafts)?

There are no messages in my draft folder.

Also I just tried sending myself an email from work and it immediately bounced back with the following:

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Subject: TEst
Sent: 9/4/2007 11:15 AM

The following recipient(s) could not be reached:

axeswipe@as3d.net on 9/4/2007 10:49 AM
The e-mail system was unable to deliver the message, but did not report a specific reason. Check the address and try again. If it still fails, contact your system administrator.
<arcsmtp10.redcross.org #5.0.0 smtp;550 No such person at this address>

I'm wondering if there is something wrong with the MX records on my domain? I'll take a look in my cpanel if you guys could check on your end also please.

Thanks.
Edit:
Just checked and the MX looks correct in cpanel.

Still getting the same undeliverable message report.
Edit:
I can save drafts now, but still cannot send or receive.

Same thing still. Sorry this is being such a pain.
Edit:
Ok, this is really screwy. I was able to set Thunderbird up so I could download all of the messages that already existed and then I deleted the email account in cpanel. When I tried to recreate the account, it said I had exceeded the allowable number of email accounts, yet there are none.

Looks like there was a problem with your package, I fixed it. Can you try now?
