Email issues? Send from CPanel, not receive

Hi,
well being a newbie to this I hope I am not being an idiot :-(
I have searched the forums and still no answer: So any suggs would be gr8 :)

I can send email to info@muru.me from my browser using TBird, with configs from Cpanel site.

I am unable to send email from TBird (gmail or hotmail from same browser) to info@muru.me
Unable to send email directly from gmail, hotmail or yahoo acc's.

Can send email from info@muru.me cpanel acc to gmail & hotmail accounts.

what gives please?

Your domain is not configured to have X10 handle your mail, so using the information that CPanel is giving you is incorrect. If you wish to have X10 manage your mail, go to your CPanel -> Mail -> MX Entries and next to "muru.me" click the "delete" button for anything that is next to "muru.me". This should change the entry for "muru.me" to "muru.me"

If you do not want X10 to handle your mail, you should contact your current mail provider and request support from them.

Basically, all I want is an email account with X10, so that any emails sent to me will be collected by a catch-all (info@muru.me, bob@muru.me, accounts@muru.me etc) into one account, and this is then downloaded by my browser (Thunderbird) - as a 1 man band, I need to keep it simple and look after it all.
I'm happy to have just one email account from which all emails can be sent ie info@muru.me
www.muru.me is held on www.muru.x10hosting.com
Does this help clarify? Or am I missing something? As I do not want to use any other email provider, and am a newbie with the potential to get confused easily :)

Oh - I haven't deleted any of the mx records, there were 3 MX entrys and they were all set to No, so I set them all to yes.
