I have both a premium and a free account with x10, both of which are used to host the websites of independent theatre companies. Today I tried sending out a press release via an email address associated with the free account but it only seems to have sent out 100 of the approximately 250 emails I had scheduled to be sent out over the course of more than an hour.
I encountered a similar situation some time ago with the premium account and was told by support that x10 servers have certain anti-spam limits (no more than 50 emails every 5 minutes, no more than 250 every half hour, use both plain-text and html). I made sure to make sure I stayed well under these limits when scheduling the sending of my press release so it wouldn't be erroneously flagged as spam but it still seems to have hit some kind of a limit.
Can someone please tell me why only 100 of my emails went through, or if the sending limits for free accounts are different than premium account?
Thanks very much!
