email to outlook express?

im tired of having to go through all the steps to get into my email account from my hosting, is there a way to use outlook express?

Yes, Infact there is an auto config system for Outlook Express in cpanel (Not always avalible). Just go to Email >> manage/add/remove accounts.

You will see a link to the auto config for each email account you have.

OR

use the following settings:

pop/smtp: mail.yourdomain.com
username: your.email@yourdomain.com

the settings you gave me wont work and i dont know how to get the info from the auto config into outlook.

what am i doing wrong?

EDIT: i got it to work. it wouldnt work in firefox. i had to use ie.


EDIT EDIT: now i cant send mail. why not? this is not good.

It is your ISP, who do you have? A lot of ISPs have blocked port 25(The port for sending mail) to try to prevent spam. You can still use your E-mail address but you will have to use their mail server. You can usually find it by googling port 25 + your ISP name.

I believe so, usually they offer you a mail server to use... you might have to call to get it.
