This is not so much a support request as a clarification of policy so I don't get suspended.
We are developing a GPS device which needs to send small text messages to and from a database via email. These messages are very small and are data only from the devices and short commands are sent the device. We are only using once device at this time for testing and development. However there will be times during the testing when there maybe dozens of messages back and forth over a 1 or 2 hour span of time. I want to be sure that this does not go against any policy that would cause problems. We will process the emails into our website database and will delete them from the server within a few days of any tests. The entire process should consume very little resources as this is the way we are desigining the system, to be as efficient as possible.
Thanks

You are allowed to send 100 emails per hour. I don't think there's a limit on receiving. It doesn't sound like there's much of a problem now during testing, but it sounds like premium hosting is definitely in your future :p

I can't say I know of any limits on paid hosting, but we can find that out when the time comes.

I don't think we would exceed 100/hour right now, especially sending. most activity will come from data in from the device, but we purposely are setting it up to be short and condensed. If this goes the way we plan, we will need some dedicated hosting, but that is down the road a bit yet.
Thanks
