Cannot send email to geocities/yahoo :'(.

1) Please investigate if this is due to some invalid/spam unfriendly settings on x10hosting's SMTP server. The email header of the same email which went through (to a non yahoo/hotmail) is as below:

(Actual email disguised here with XXXX for privacy/spam prevention reasons, but message ID & time-stamp in tact)

2) Please add an SPF record if possible on DNS.

Check your main cPanel inbox.
Did the message bounce back? If yes, what is the error?

Checked that there is no sign of the emails being bounced at all....

Based on past experience, it is usually some yahoo/hotmail/spam unfriendly settings on the outgoing SMTP server that caused such problems....., causing yahoo/hotmail to "block" X10's SMTP servers.... not sure if this is the case at the moment....
Edit:
Any joy :crying:?

Btw, email to hotmail.com seems to be going through

But I tried again, still not going through to yahoo!

help!

:crying:

Still not working but tried another email test to another brand new yahoo email, header of which is as follows.

Note
1) email to the other lamsmail.net email went through successfully
2) Email to the new yahoo.com not went through- not in spam folder and email not bounced back either!

Instead of testing with Horde, I also tried updating a PHP script to try to use an external SMTP server (which requires authentication and tested as working and can send mail to Yahoo), and I get some sort of connection error...., can script not connect to external SMTP?

Can the SMTP config be sorted out so mails to Yahoo will go through, please??
