erase website content

hi, recently something has been wrong with my website, and im wondering if there is any way i can reset the website back to its "factory settings" i dont want to erase everything before asking what is needed, because there might be folders that need to stay untouched, so if you can help me, guide me, or do it from your side i would be greatful.

also incase the problem 'can' be fixed without having to erase the whole site here is the phpnuke error...

when a new user tries to register, the site responds by saying

An error occurred whilst updating the database
Unknown column 'custom1' in 'field list'

If you know what errors you are having we can fix the issues without having to delete the files.

If you still need me to delete all files except the ones required by the site (the original files) Let me know, But i need to make sure you have a backed up copy of the site. If you have one then i will go ahead and clear the account of the files you don't need. You can then ftp the site back up and you should be fine.

Right, well the problem comes up when a user tries to register on my phpnuke site..the error says

and yes, i have backed up everything i need and i am just waiting for the content deleting to be performed.
